Cephas is a Texas micro-roaster built on a simple idea: coffee can be a vehicle for dignified work. We roast calmly and cleanly, then pack and fulfill orders alongside student workers in inclusive job training programs.
We believe meaningful work builds confidence. So every bag helps create dignified, real-world opportunities for students with disabilities.
This year’s goal: 200+ paid training hours and 3 on-campus workstations supported through coffee.
We track hours, tasks, and growth with partner educators — then iterate like any good roastery.
Balanced, daily-driver roasts. Roast notes lean City to Full City — clean sweetness, steady body.
Brown sugar · almond · red apple

We roast in small batches because it keeps us present. The name Cephas — a nod to Peter, the rock — reflects our aim to build something steady, dignified, and meaningful. It’s the same reason we build workflows with students — real tasks, real accountability, and plenty of wins along the way.
Outfit your café, office, or faith community — or build a mission-aligned private label. Training available for service and fulfillment workflows with student teams.
